The CLEAR REEF animal commissioning team is comprised of highly experienced administrative, logistics/shipping and animal care members (biologists, veterinarians).
This is vital to ensure a safe «water to water» journey of the animals from origin to destination.

CLEAR REEF pays special attention to:

• Define the animal population list

• Schedule and organize the animal procurement

• The LSS commissioning process: This is one of the most important steps in a quality assurance program that begins well before the opening day to ensure that all the equipment is properly installed and fully operational before commissioning.

• Successful start-up of the facility

• Have matured all systems at destination prior to stocking

• The extreme sensitivity to the species needs and welfare at every stage

• Prepare emergency and backup systems when needed

• Find the best supplier for each specific specie

• Obtain all export/import permits timely

• Ensure that quarantine protocols are well followed at origin in order to get healthy and disease- free animals

• Implement and follow up the CLEAR REEF quarantine protocols at destination facility
